BH-905 won't turn-on.

I've got a BH-905 and it worked fine for a week but it suddenly stoped to work. The ANC and the wired "connection" are working fine, but no bluetooth or the orange/green/blue lights. I heard about a trick that involves pressing the "pause + volume down + rewind" but it doesn't work. Of couse the battery is fully charged :smileyhappy:

Could anyone give me some help please?

Thanks!

Re: BH-905 won't turn-on.

Just got mine working again. Try holding those three buttons for ten seconds or more then let go and then power on the device normally. That fixed my problem. Make sure you have all three buttons properly pressed in my case the vol down and Play button took a lot of pressure to keep holding down on. oh and have auto noise cancelling or ANC off.

Re: BH-905 won't turn-on.

Is it the pause key or the multi-function key?  And which is the volume down button?  Is it the one at the bottom of the earphone, or the one further up the side?  I've tried holding down all these button combinations numerous times for 20 seconds or more and mine is still dead.  :smileysad:

Re: BH-905 won't turn-on.

I just ran into this issue and resolved it.  Many of the posts on here give directions that contradict what's in the manual.  They didn't work for me, but the manual did.

Page 14 of the manual (which you should be able to find online) has instructions on resetting the headset in case it stops working.  This is what is written in the manual:

To clear the volume and pairing settings from the headset, deactivate

Bluetooth connectivity, and press and hold the multifunction key and
the volume up key (for about 5 seconds) until the Bluetooth indicator
light starts to alternate between red and green.

To reset the headset if it stops functioning, even though it is charged,
press the volume down key, the multifunction key, and the rewind key.
The reset does not clear the settings.

A reset is what we're going for.

Hold down the "multifunction key" (this is the part you hold down to power on the device - the top part of the right earphone's primary button, not the play/pause button), the "volume down" key (if you can't remember which part of the volume rocker was volume down, it's the part of the volume rocker that is lower down, closer to the headphones jack), and the rewind button (this is the key with the "|<<" symbol that is closer to the volume keys).  The manual doesn't indicate if they all need to be pressed down at exactly the same time (as opposed to pressing and holding one, then pressing another, then another...), or how long they need to be held down for.  I pressed them all in unison as best I could, and held them down for about 10 seconds.

In my case, something weird happened.  Even though the headset powered up, upon trying to play music through them, they seemingly shut down and wouldn't power on again.  I had to reset them a second time.  At that point I deleted the paired profile with my computer and re-paired my computer and the headphones.  Now they seem to be working fine again.  What a relief!

Best of luck to anyone else who is going through this unpleasant experience.
