Hi all,

I have just bought CK-w15 car kit. It looks good. I was thinking could i connect not speaker supplied by nokia, but straight to my radio. Lets say it would be Aux connection.

Would this work ?

This is certainly not a normal feature, even if it did prove possible, I'm not sure how it would work in conjunction with your stereo.

Some car stereos support the feature that mutes the stereo when a call is in progress via the car kit. If this was the case with your car and you were able to do what you suggest, you'd lose not only the music but also the call!

Yeah it is possible but it will void your warranty on the speaker.

Basically you unplug and cut the speaker off (preferably close to the speaker unit itself)you now have access to the audio out of the kit, you must have radio mute connected also.
The Red wire is positive Black negative connect these directly to the car speaker wire generally use the front passanger side so you avoid feedback and echo issues.

There are a few things to be wary of they are if you are running an amp you must connect to the speaker wiring between the speaker & amp (never between the headunit and amp)and you can have some problems with vehicles running splits.

Try Autoleads, Kram or Elan technologies for telemute leads, they do adaptor which will connect your handsfree kit through your car speakers. If you tell me what car you have and the stereo fitted i will give you a part number.

I think i found solution, i have audi a4, my stereo is blaupunkt los angeles mp71, i hav ordered some wires, so maybe i will be sorted if i will have all cables, i know allready which wire cuts of my radio(mute), so i just need right one to transmit sound from kit to stereo..

This car kit supports car radio mute and will work through the stereo if this feature is supported by the radio.
