DT-900 light doesn't go off

I just got a DT-900 wireless charger with my new HTC Droid DNA, and it charges OK, very slowly, but I can't tell when it's done because the light never goes off. I put it on the plate at something like 63%. I came back three hours later and it said 99%. I came back another hour later and it still said 99%. I came back another hour later and it said 100%, but the light was still on. I came back another hour later, it was still 100%, and the light was still on. It behaves this way consistently. I have never seen the "slow pulse" indicator that  the manual and the salesperson talked about.

i would leave it a couple more hours or overnight and see if it turns off at 100%. it may not be at 100% and the phone is incorrectly reporting the battery percentage. With my DT-900 and Lumia 920, it stays at 100% and the light doesn't turn off for another couple of hours. it may also be due to the fact that the phone is new and the battery needs a couple of cycles and discharges before it all reports correctly.

Re: DT-900 light doesn't go off

As it happens, I left it overnight last night, and 9 hours later the light was still on and the phone said 100%. The indicator on the phone turns from red to green, but the charger doesn't change. I think it's time to return it.
