Bro, my problem is different from what is mentioned here so far. My BH503 connects nicely with my phone Nokia e51, no problem with that at all. BUT it does not connect with my PC (Win7, 32 bit). For Bluetooth on my PC I'm using Bluetooth dongle.
First PC discovers the device, but when I click on the "Next" button in the dialogue menu, it says:
"Adding this device to this computer failed. It took too long to add this device. Device ussually stay in discovery mode for short period of time to prevent power drain.
Please try again."
What should i do? (of course i tried again and again - nothing happened).
I also attached 2 screenshots of the menu.

I have some confusion here, when I double click on it, it does not show "click on HEADSET EARPHONE and the click on SET DEFAULT," this option, please see the screen capture attached

Hi venkattex,
Welcome to the Nokia Discussion Boards and thanks for posting.
In order for your laptop or PC to be able to connect to and use the headset it's bluetooth implementation needs to support both the bluetooth version of the headset and the HSP (HeadSetProfile)
These are the specifications of the BH-503 as far as connectivity goes:
Bluetooth version
Bluetooth profiles
Let me know how you get on,

Hi venkattex,
If the BH-503 connects it most likely the bluetooth installation of your PC or laptop does contain the required profiles as mentioned in my previous post.
You should contact the computer or (external) bluetooth interface manufacturer about availability of said profiles.
Let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi venkattex,
You need to contact whichever company your bluetooth interface is from. Either the computer manufacturer if built in or if using an external USB dongle contact its manufacturer.
Verify the computer interface supports the bluetooth profiles required for connecting a bluetooth stereo headset.
Hope this helps,
