hey..i have a nokia x7 which came with wh-701 Headsets. When i first got it, changing music using the headset controls worked and showed a notification drop down box on the very top right corner of the phone, but later stopped after a week. I dont jnow wat happend. I tried to go to the settings to change the headset profile, i hard and soft reset my phone a couple of times but nothing happened.
The microphone and controls on the headset work on other phones but not mine. I dont plug it in slowly either anf its only 2 weeks old, so there couldnt be dust in it......How do i resolve this issue please help! :-(

Just try a headset without a speker 2 jack headset, i had the same problem and this way my N8 worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had the same with my N8 ,the only one way to fix it is downgrade, so ive sent my to repair center(second time,first time they send it bac after 17 days and told me that they change some electonic component,didnt say what...so i checked that and it shown that they even didnt touch the screws ) on warrant ,hope that they can do that properly now!!!!
