So I bought a N8 last December from Qatar and the dealer CGC offered a 01 year warranty. Was happily using the phone until the Mic of it's headset (WH-701) failed for no apprant reason. So when I asked a replacement they (CGC) said that they did not offer warranty for accessories but for only the unit (phone). Is this Nokia's policy or is the dealer mistaken? If the dealer is mistaken by any chance how do I persuade him to replace my headset? Pls reply.... Thanks...

Have a look at the link below for information on your warranty entitlements. The warranty is 1 year for the handset and only 6 months for wired headsets.
