Nokia 5800 (software V60) and BH-110 headset communication problem.

Hi Guys!

I have a strange situation with my bluetooth headset (BH-110). I have got it for a Nokia 5800, but it wont work. I can pair the phone and the headset, I can start or receive calls, but nobody hears what I say (I can hear perfectly everything).

After a few tests, I paired the BH-110 with a Samsung Corby. With that, works like a charm.

Finally I paired with my Nokia E66. The result is: everybody can hear me, but i can not hear anything.

Today I visited one of my friend, who has also 5800. I paired his phone, end lets see a wonder, works great! The only different between my phone and his phone is that, my software is V 60 (won't work), his software V 52 (work well).

So my question is: Is there any possibility to downgrade to V 52 my phone form V 60, or the better solution would be an update, or some software component to correct this bluetooth bug?

Re: Nokia 5800 (software V60) and BH-110 headset communication problem.

hi mate,

it is not possible to downgrade firmware. if you are having Bluetooth problems, your only solutions are to either re-install your current firmware thru Nokia Suite on your PC or to perform a three finger hard reset. Be warned of data loss, so please backup your personal data before performing any kind of reset or re-installation.

failing that, you will need to take your phone to your local Nokia Care point for them to inspect: http://nokia.com/support

Hi!

Thank you for your advice. The reinstall has already done, but what does it mean: three finger hard reset?

The backup and restore worked fine with Nokia Suite.

Three finger hard reset is a reset, not a re-install. Is your problem resolved is it i hope?

Ok, I understand. Can I make the three finger hard reset? Which three button do I have to press?

Let us know how you go after the reset hey.

Green + Red + Camera Button to be kept pressed while switching the phone ON. Release the 3 buttons only after you see the Nokia logo ...
