Re: nokia 2600 classic

The 2600c is too basic to be connected to a computer using USB. The port on the side of it is for certain accessories and service use.

It can only be connected using bluetooth so you need to buy a USB bluetooth adaptor for your PC.

Re: nokia 2600 classic

This is an example of what you need:
www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6752871/Trail/searchtext%3EUSB+BLUETOOTH.htm
You can find them in other stores like currys, PC world and probably even larger Tesco's.

Don't expect great results when you print your pictures as that phone has the most basic of camera's. They are more for use on the screen and for MMS messages than for printing.

Re: nokia 2600 classic

I tried searching for a cable for this phone. They do exist but seem to be specialist cables for unlocking and are very expensive.

I'd suggest visiting AllMobilePhoneAccessories.com

USB is very easy to use and you can leave it plugged so you dont have to fiddle around with cables each time. I think the biggest benefit is it works with lots of other phones like my wifes N70.

Re: nokia 2600 classic

After much pain & suffering trying to come up with a cable connection for my 2600, I feel now that your comment that there isn't any cable connection for the 2600 is the best and probably the most accurate.  The CA-50 cable which fits the 2600's female connector did not do the trick.  There was no driver for it.  The computer did not recognize the 2600  Finallly I was able to get connected via bluetooth with the help of Nokia and Dell customer service folks.  The Nokia PC suites makes the connection work.
