nokia 2600 classic

Hi Members
I have just bought a nokia 2600 clasic and want to connect to my desktop pc which usb data cable do i need so i can transfere photo to pc and print.robin

The 2600c is too basic to be connected to a computer using USB. The port on the side of it is for certain accessories and service use.

It can only be connected using bluetooth so you need to buy a USB bluetooth adaptor for your PC.

What kind of adapter do i need as i got the mobil from tesco and they dont sell them and ebay there 2 kind one is usb dongle adapter. i never had a camera phone so need as much help as possible i have downloaded software suite that all.robin

You can find them in other stores like currys, PC world and probably even larger Tesco's.

Don't expect great results when you print your pictures as that phone has the most basic of camera's. They are more for use on the screen and for MMS messages than for printing.

Hi
thank you manage to get a usb bluetooth dongle from tesco works fine. Could you help me with a couple of problens with phone the 1 is it keeps shutting off how do i stop it and the 2 is the light only comes on for a few seconds how do i keep it on .robin

I tried searching for a cable for this phone. They do exist but seem to be specialist cables for unlocking and are very expensive.

I'd suggest visiting AllMobilePhoneAccessories.com

USB is very easy to use and you can leave it plugged so you dont have to fiddle around with cables each time. I think the biggest benefit is it works with lots of other phones like my wifes N70.

After much pain & suffering trying to come up with a cable connection for my 2600, I feel now that your comment that there isn't any cable connection for the 2600 is the best and probably the most accurate.  The CA-50 cable which fits the 2600's female connector did not do the trick.  There was no driver for it.  The computer did not recognize the 2600  Finallly I was able to get connected via bluetooth with the help of Nokia and Dell customer service folks.  The Nokia PC suites makes the connection work.

Hello,

         I have also Nokia 2626.But i am not able to connect it with my pc.i dont understand how to connect it with bluetooth because it have no bluetooth option.then how can i connect it with my pc?
