6303 update problem

I recently bought a nokia 6303 classic on tmobile from argos.

i plugged it into my computer to transfer some music, it notified me of an update from 6.4 to 9.1, i downloaded the update tool, but it will only download 20mb and then the counter reverts to 0 and it eventualy says update failed.

im not sure if it makes any difference but i have a fresh mobile sim in the phone instead of the included t-mobile sim.
