My asha 200 has a lot of bugs when a custom theme is installed, even with a lot of free memory. I just upgraded the firmware to v11.56, and these are my problems:
1. Some theme elements turn invalid after some time.
2. Lags when typing, some presses are detected as double presses. Therefore the corresponding number or symbol or double letters in a letter key is displayed.
3. A lot of files in the gallery, even songs in the media player are read as an unusable file type.
4. Displays "message not sent" when sending a message through the message editor (not the conversations view).
5. Opera mini constantly crashes.
I've tried all kinds of themes, even those from the nokia store, but all of them caused problems. Even if they're very simple or very elaborate themes, they all cause problems. I set one of the default themes, and instantly all of the above problems were gone. Please help, I really want themes on this phone.

@ng85, no it really happens to all contacts...
And even if the theme size is only less than 100kb, it still problematic.
As for the opera mini issue, I'm still using v7, and there really are no problems with it when a default theme is set.

Try to restore the phone back to its factory settings:
1 End all calls and connections.
2 Select Menu > Settings and Restore factory sett. > Settings only.
3 Enter the security code.
This does not affect documents or files stored on your device.
After restoring the original settings, your device switches off and then on again. This
may take longer than usual.
If the issue is still the same, try to re-install the software using Nokia Suite
