you are right professor .it has multitasking at some places which even i appreciated in my first post.

But tell me one thing  "Didn't the Nokia Express music 5800 support full multitasking with a 435 Mhz processor and 128 mb RAM which is less than that of Asha 311.?" .....   here is your answer.

we common fellows dont run a lot of programs at a time nor we receive frequent IM or emails 

(apart from facebook once)..i just want that i could send a mail to my friend or sms him while surfing net or call him while doing the same.

i know that previously S40 didn't support multitasking ,which is modified and is much better now than

before but it is not as perfect as Nokia's other softwares and you must agree on this.

The Nokia guys even forgot to put a utility which could make the camera shutter sound off (or make it less).

Look i have no intention of proving you wrong  but the truth is that its not a smartphone 

and even you can't deny the flop features i reported in my first post.

But you can surely help me in improving them .Thanks.

Just an update: a fix for the WLAN issue is targeted for the next device SW update (for both Asha 311 and Asha 305).

meanwhile, the workaround is indeed to create new access point settings manually and set those as default for all applications.

Thanks for the update. We'll be looking forward for the newer update. Expecting a lot of improvements.. LOL I'm greedy now I'm otherwise happy with this phone and planning a L620 next xD

BTW, If you can tell, any idea when the next update will be pushed? Know you can't provide exact dates but a time frame, if possible

The schedules are always a bit complicated topic so It might be better if I did not say anything. But we are pushing hard so that the fix would be available early next year.

@Armagon: Hey! Thank you for taking the time to write the reply. I'll wait for the update..

@KKSingh: Bro, the camera sounds can't be turned off because Indian regulations don't allow that. Every picture clicking device must produce a sound to let the next person be made aware of the click. Its not forgotten. Its just that Nokia follows local regulations and laws more strictly than others
About Stream size, don't know what you're referring to. Is it that you wanna see the video to be taking more of screen than limiting a wide frame?

And about the videos size ,i was referring to the videos size which is actually lesser than the actual size of the screen .u can read my first post to get it cleared.

Well that's the reason why I'm asking again. Firstly the screen is complete 3 inches, as provided in the specifications.
Next, the videos do play in full screen, the only vacant space is around 0.2cm at top and bottom. That's all, its completely filled at left and right.
Were you referring to the streaming videos from YouTube?

Have a look at this .This was the video which was a sample video given in the mobile which runs on a small screen .see the gap left at sides.this is the snapshot.Only those videos taken from the mobile play on full screen and whichever video i put on the mobile plays in the same way as in the snapshot.

The problem is with the resolution of the videos that you're trying to play. A video of 360p plays perfectly as full-screen (leaving the little frame that i already mentioned). Check out a click of my phone playing a video taking use of the full screen.
