Hello everyone, i'm from morocco so i speak little english, i'm sorry for my mistakes but i really need your help.

So i bought a Nokia Asha 311, it works fine but when i try to use whatsapp or foursquare or facebook with Wifi, i got an error and the phone try to use the 3G, and there are other apps that do that, however the wifi works fine with the browser and a few apps, so please help me.

Welcome to Nokia forum! 

Try doing this on your phone

1. From the main menu on your device, select Settings.
2. Select Configuration.
3. Select Personal Config Sett. (or Personal settings)
4. Select My Access Point.
5. Enter a name for your access point and input the settings obtained from your Network Operator for Internet settings. The settings may already exist. Please ensure the information is correct and create a new access point name if the Operator's most current settings are not in the list of specified access points.  
6. Select the newly configured access point name. (Tap & Hold the Access Point name > Select Activate)
7. Go back to Settings
8. Select  Connectivity
9. Select Net Connection > Set it to Ask first
