Hi... What is the approx time for Nokia 5530's battery life, say if its use mainly in texting?

I've noticed that after updating my software, the battery life became shorter. Please advise.. Thanks!

Let the phone run on normal usage..check how long it will last..do not charge it yet even if it prompts low battery until its already drain...check how many hours you used it until it was drained out..

I'll do what you suggested... Just wanna know, does the application (e.x. MyPhone) affect the battery life, though it is in standby mode or locked?

'yep I've noticed the same.  Phone barely lasts 2 days now with just mild texting, very few phone chats, although bluetooth on all the time

I just got mine yesterday, and let me tell you - after charging it all night long, the phone lasted barely 6 hours. And i didn't even talk single time, nor used wlan. Made in China sucks...

Hi.. Initial charging should be 4 hours only. Do you have any application open during that 6 hours? If yes, dat really affects the battery life.. If there's none, I suggest you bring it back to your vendor...
