I have just bought a nokia 6230i from someone still sealed in box,in the ad it stated that the phone was unlocked and would accept any sim.on receiving it ,we have noticed that it is a contract phone and when we put it on it says;phone restricted.what does this mean? and is there any way we can use a pay as you go sim with this phone.any help greatly appreciated.
Contact your seller and have him obtain the unlock code. he should be able to do it from his provider. you can search the web for people who can do it but it might cost you at least 30 dollars or so. the easiest is to get the seller to get it for you.
