Disabling incoming call answering via touchscreen on Asha 300

Hi,

 

On asha 300, incoming calls can be answered via the touchscreen. How do I disable this behaviour? When I dig out the phone from my pocket, I frequently accidentally drop the call because the phone does not require the swipe gesture before accepting touchscreen input for incoming calls! Is it possible to set the phone to always require the swipe gesture? If not, then is it possible to set it up so that only the physical buttons can answer/drop calls?

 

I have installed firmware v7.57.

Hi Vonberg,

As far as I know, there is no option to disable this behavior. There may be a firmware update in future that rectifies and safeguards this behavior. In the meantime, as this is a user to user forum only, you may leave feedback with Nokia directly by clicking the Nokia Support link at the bottom of this page.
