Echo on calls

Hi, I have a 7230 slide phone - does anybody know why I tend to get an echo on calls so whilst I am trying to hear the person on the other end, I can also hear what I have just said, so very annoying!! thanks

have you the latest firmware installed?
type in *#0000# see what yours

or check with the nokia software updater here

I have an Asha 201, with an annoying echo when I call. The latest software has been installed. Any help ou there?
