Hi. I just bought my asha 311 last
monday.
My concern is that from time to
time, i can see green strips on the
bottom of the screen, one portion of
the strip seems to copy the display
of the battery whenever I charge my
phone.
The area is just thin, on the
homescreen, it is located under the
three circles with two moving apart
on another.
Then after a few moment, it
disappears.. Then I will be surprised
that it is back again.
Is it normal or a defect ?
I am planning to return it at the
nokia store where I bought it.. Can I
get a product replacement ?

It is a hardware issue. Maybe the screen connector is loose.
Check if you get a product replacement through the store or else Nokia care will be the right place to visit.

uhm.. what would I say to the agent at nokia storec? cause it is not everytime that the irritatibg green strip appears.. maybe they would not believe me.

That's true. Depending on the behaviour of the store representative, you might be asked to reproduce the issue. And in such a case, you'll really have trouble.

Usually they agree that hardware issues can arise. So usually don't argue much and easily offer a replacement. Good Luck (y)

UPDATE:

I just made my step out of Nokia care SM Southmall (Philippines), they replaced the LCD of my 311.

The previous problem was fixed!
