I fear I've encountered my first problem with my Asha 311.
Using Nokia Suite 3.7.22 I did install the Adaffix Caller ID app. Installing seemed to run normally and Nokia Suite reported that the app was now ready for use. However, I can't see the app's icon on my phone.
Checking installed apps with Nokia Suite confirms that Caller ID version 1.2.9 is installed
My phone had been updated to the latest software version (05.92) prior to installing the app.
Any ideas ?

Tap and Hold on the Homescreen and then select +Shortcut .. See if the application appears in the list ...This will further confirm that the application is properly installed..Then see under EACH Folder if you have not done that already ..

Hi Farby.
Sorry for the late reply, but it has not been easy (for me that is ) to solve the problem.
Although Nokia Suite confirms the app's installation, it does not indicate where. I supposed all apps to be installed in the phone memory, so that is where I searched for it - in vain. Until - by accident actually - I checked the memory card and found a new folder with the app inside.
I moved the app to the phone memory, restarted the phone and now the app appears on the home screen and it works.
Conclusions : this particular app gets installed in the wrong place, the 'installed apps' feature in Nokia Suite does find it there, but the phone's home screen software only looks for apps installed in the phone's memory.
Somewhere there must be a bug.
