I have nokia asha 311 and it also have that social application in it, which forks ok for handset like this.

But that Social app does not have the facebook option in it. It means I can't add my facebook account in the social app.

I am really very disappointed with this. If someone has the solution for this then please reply me.

Also I want to mention that I already updated my handset to SW 05.92. And doing this does not change anything.

have you checked in the Nokia Store if there are any applications for Facebook that fit your needs?

No, those applications does not support the option for directly uploading the photos from my mobile.

When i clicked on any image in my mobile it shows the option to upload the image through the social app but the facebook option is not available in the social app.

Is someone can help me about this.

i had asked "armagon" about this..

I asked him that  "do you have any idea about when will Face book on social app be available."

He gave me reply  "It won't, the plan is to go with the stand-alone Facebook client going forward."

Now i am very dissapointed about this..

Well, I'm a complete novice here, but I did already check the Nokia Store for available apps for the Asha 311 and lo ! what do I see ? A Facebook app !

Just go to Nokia Store, specify Asha 311 in the top line, click on Social Networks and look for the Facebook app.

Yes, I would say that the "standalone" FB client provides a better experience than FB over social. You can download it from here: http://store.ovi.com/content/238066?clickSource=search&pos=1

The old Social client is not maintained anymore (no new features, which is a problem in social networks as they tend to keep developing often), while standalone client get regular updates and new features. That's one of the main reasons for this change.
