My Nokia 6300 having problem to save GPRS,WAP,MMS configuration SMS sent from my service provider.when i try to save a config sms a popup says "70 SET ALLOWED, SETTINGS DISCARDED".
i deleted all previous congig.all are EMPTY now.still showing this same.

any friends pls help me out by giving me any solution (like any RESET CODE).

The following code clears WAP and MMS settings if it helps.

*#335738# - Clear WAP/MMS settings

You could also try getting the settings from your network and setting your phone up manually.

I think the *#7780# reset code only works on the Symbian S60 phones and not the 6300 which is S40.

No you are wrong i own this phone and have try it,actually for symbian it works too, but symnbian had another call soft reset *#7370#.

Hey...Try flashing your phone..it works...Go to any cellphone repair shop..they have this flashing device...and it reformats your phone totally..solver other problem too..

Hi,

Welcome to the forum!

You can try to configure those settings manually by going to the Settings > Configuration > Personal Config. Sett. > To add a new personal account, select Add, or Options > Add new > Select the service type, and enter the required parameters. 

Scroll to it to activate a personal account, and then select Options > Activate . If this doesn't help, try checking if there's available update for the phone. If there's none, try to reinstall the software through Nokia PC Suite.

Nokia Series 40 » Menu » Settings » Configuration » Default » long tap or Options » Delete

Do that for all configurations which you do not need anymore. Did that help?
