Phone failed due to getting wet by falling into tub. Phone has been allowed to dry out for several months.

Charged battery today and turned on phone. Screen is dead but vibrate feature works when touching screen.

Connected phone to Nokia Suite and can see contacts, messages, etc., but phone will not accept an update.

Other than sending phone to Nokia for service what other solutions are there that may fix the screen problem? I am technically capable and am willing to open the case. No warranty remaining on this phone. Thank you for any useful suggestions.

Unfortunately it is against forum rules to discuss something like this which could lead to someone else invalidating their warranty. All we can suggest here in situations like is to send it to your local care point.
