Hi, every nokia 6300 users out there. As I know nokia 6300 has pre-instaleld dictionary application. I just browsed through the nokia 6300 support malaysia website and found out there's dictionary update file (but not installation file). So why my phone doesn't have dictionary application and how about the others? If possible please post a solution for this matter . Thanks.
As far as I am aware, all Nokia phones have the ability to add new words to their dictionaries. Certainly all the ones I have owned have done this. However, with the 6300, when it does not know the word you are wanting to type in, it lets you put in your own word and then says "Save?" Well, I have saved a great number of words and the phone only appears to "remember" a few of them. It is random and may remember a word you have just added but have forgotten a word you added previously. If I go to Menu>Applications>Memory Card>Dictionary - the phone says "Empty" Basically I would like to know how to add words to the dictionary or find out a solution to why my phone does not "remember" text words which I have added and "saved" Thank You. Daver
