Hi,
I thought that I would share my experience of the new Nokia Asha 201 here as it might be of some use to other users in the future.
This message is about video streaming & or downloading. Over the past couple of weeks I've been investigating this issue with Nokia. There are two issues here that I can see. One is that some staff at Nokia have been misinformed about this phone & that is then pasted on to customers. I've download, updated and re-download all the software that is available to this phone. As late as yesterday, I was told quite categorically that the Asha can stream video & I needed to update my service provider details. This is not the case. The Asha 201 cannot stream or download video content, no matter what app you try or what service provider you happen to use. I received an email from Nokia Customer Service today confirming the fact that the Asha's OS does not support video streaming & or downloading.
The second issue is a more personal one. The Customer Services here at Nokia seem unwilling to except that me the customer may know more that they do about one of their products. I've been trying to inform Nokia that the Asha can't use video content for a couple of weeks now, but they would not have it. Finally yesterday evening I sent an email to the Head of Western Europe at Nokia Conor Pierce. He got back to me with in ten minutes, & promised to help with this issue.

What solution? There is none, it can't stream or download. Official from Nokia. Want a copy of the email?

Download opera mini. Open this board in it. Go to this post of yours. There I've mentioned the solution. But I will mention again here. Open this link & follow the instructions there.
P.S. I'm not a Nokia Official. Just another user like you.

If I was rude, I apologise, my wife says I'm rude all the time. I don't mean to rude, in fact I hate rude people. So, are you saying that if I follow your instructions and save that page to mini opera, with the beginning piece of code removed, then hey presto! mini opera will play video from youtube? If so, how? Did you do this? Get back to me & let me know. I'm going to even include a smiley, which, I also cannot stand when people do it.
If this does actually work I may even include a heart!!!!!!! This spell checker keeps changing all my 's' to 'z' damn American spelling.

No problem. But you wont be able to play directly but will be able to download & then play on the device. It'll take you to the site of which I've attached a screenshot below. The mail might take upto 10 min to arrive so be a little patient.

That a hell of a lot of code, I've just gone through it to get to the start of it, so I could delete that first part with the http://. I installed it in the mini opera, and saved it in the new Nokia Browser beta, for the Symbian S40. So do I go to youtube to download, or do I go to zamzar?
