Was trying to customise the home screen by selecting the homescreen,moving icons around. And now it looks a bit messed up..confused and not sure if i have removed any icons. How can i set it to the default view/positions.

Go to settings-restore factory settings - settings only. It will set the phone to default settings but will not delete any of the data. You can also use *#7780# on the main screen followed by security code.

It affects only settings which includes your profile names, profile settings, alarm & alert tones, message settings, configuration settings or any other settings. But it will not delete any of your private data.

hi mate,

have you checked via Nokia Suite on PC if there are any firmware updates available for your device? if there are, please update to the latest version offered. failing that, you can try re-installing your current firmware thru Nokia Suite and if that fails, Restoring your phone to factory settings.

Failing that, you will need to take your phone to your local Nokia Care point for inspection: http://nokia.com/support

not possible if your touch screen isn't working. unfortunately you have no choice but to take your phone to Nokia Care for inspection.
