Hi,

I have a Nokia 5130 Xpress Music handest. I find it quite useful for checking my mails when my laptop is unavailable. However I want to know if I can get a pdf reader for the handset that will allow me to read pdf files. If not, what handset do you recommend? That one should have a good memory card, a decent camera and good sound. I have a budget of 300 USD.

Hi there, to the best of my knowledge there are no PDF reader applications available for Series40 phones such as the 5130. Your best bet would be to upgrade to any Series60 handset, as most of them have the Adobe Reader 1.5 application built-in. Depends what you want in a phone really, the Series60 Version5 phones are the touchscreen devices, while the Series60 Version3 are the non-touch devices.

You could try ezreaderpdfdoc in nokia ovi store. This is a limited version. But still you could read small pdf files in it. For that  you have to install nokia suite  and then connect your phone thro usb with the computer. Copy any pdf file to mobile and then Try  to open and then write
