Hi Guys,

I am continuously facing  problems with My NOKIA ASHA200

1. Messages received form One Contact in conversations Shows in other contacts conversation, so I have to restart  the set then it shows almost correct messages to respective contact conversation

2. Messages got  stuck, I couldn't received messages full day but my contacts says that they are continuously sending me messages, so I restarted the phone and after that the messages started to coming  to my inbox and almost 30+ messages  received  when phone was restarted, this problem always persists, I am compelled to restart my phone after every 8 to 10 hours coz I doubt that may be the messages are stuck again.

3. In every phone there is an option of screened list of contacts from which You don't want to receive calls n messages, but in this phone no such facility is available

4. Phone always hanged when any application loads improperly or when you are  using any application and any call or message received phone automatically restarted.

Can U  You guys please help me out to get rid  of these problems.

have you checked if there are any firmware updates available for your device via the device itself or Nokia Suite? If you are offered one, please update to the latest version offered. if that doesn't work, then try re-installing your current firmware, and if that doesn't work either, then you can try Restoring your phone to factory settings.

Failing that, you will need to take your phone to your local Nokia Care for inspection: http://nokia.com/support

My suggestions are:

1. Move all contacts from sim card to phone memory. This improves startup speed and phone performance.

2. Make sure that you have at least 3 to 5MB free in phone memory.

3. Donot operate the phone immediately after restarting like opening message folder or contacts.

I have already kept my all contact in phone memory, and I always keep phone aside till it restarted fully.

I am using memory Card and all photos, media and everything kept in Memory Card, I always keep more than 5MB free, as I was advised by a mobile technician

how to reintsll the firmware can U plz tell me the procedure

Install latest version of Nokia suite. Downloadable from www.nokia.com/nokiasuite .

Now connect your phone to pc and start Nokia suite and click on software update, it will check for update, if new firmeware available, update it, if not then you can reinstall by clicking on "reinstall" in the same page of software update.

Backup data and remove any password of the phone before doing this.
