My phone (Nokia 303) scans for wifi and tries to get a connection all day! This is even when i set the phone's "wifi auto scan" to off.
I called Nokia support but they said that a "Running Application" => which is Whatsapp in my case is causing this problem cause it overides the phone settings to try and get a connection.
Is this true for this phone or all other phones? An application should not be overiding phone settings! This is causing my phone's battery life to last only half a day cause of this problem.
Nokia phone support told me that the only way to solve this problem would be to uninstall whatsapp. Is there any other method to solve this issue without uninstalling whatsapp?
If i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.
