Unable to read E-Book (in Jar Format) in Nokia Asha 305

Hi,

 

I got Nokia Asha 305 Model.  Tried to read E-Book (which I got in JAR Format) but my phone is not allowing it.  Even though I am able to play games which are available in the same JAR Format. 

 

Please advice.

.jar is basically just a .zip package. It's usually used just for delivering/packaging applications to the devices, not other content like eBooks. However if you tell me what exactly you downloaded, this could be easily checked.

Hi,

 

Thanks for your reply.  I have downloaded a Novel in .jar format.  I tried to open it but unable to.  Unsure how to read the novel in my Asha 305.  Please advice whether I need to use some other format to read novels in my mobile.
