I have spent almost 2 hours searching for the answer but could not find it. I want to know if I put 2 sims one of vodafone & other of tata docomo in the phone, will the phone be able to receive messages on both if the phone is on standby. I know that its mentioned in user guide general instructions that one sim will not be active if other is in use. Also this thread gives info about c2-03, a similar phone.

To add- I receive almost 30 messages per day on both the numbers combined. So if I'm receiving a message on 1 sim, for how long will the other be disabled. please also tell the same for after ending a call.

You can not receive a CALL  / Message on other SIM as long as you are ON a call on the Other SIM. When the phone is in Standby if you have selected 'DUAL SIM' mode (Menu-->Settings-->Dual SIM Settings-->Standby Mode-->Dual SIM) then you receive Calls / Messages on both the SIMs on First Come First Serve basis... but once you take the Call or start receiving the Messages the other SIM gets disabled till the time the Call is ended or the Message is received ...
