Hi I forgot my nokia 6300's security code and i need the master reset code urgently but i do not have its imei code as I lost the box but these are the codes on the back of the phone thanks.

IC: 661U-RM217

Type: RM-217

Model Number: xxx

Take your phone to your nearest Nokia Care Point with proof of ownership.

They will reset the phone there and set the security code back to its default 12345.

NEVER show your IMEI number in public places such as this.

Grschinon is right, that's the only solution.

 

There are no master reset codes for your phone, these were abolished before the introduction of that model precisely because details of them escaped onto the internet. What is the point in having a code to protect the data in your phone if every Tom, **bleep** and Harry on the internet can get around it?
