hi
i have a Nokia 5610 Expressmusic phone now for around four months now. the phone sometimes hangs when i am making a call or receiving a call. the screen just turns white and and comes back to normal after only a few seconds.
Looking for a helping hand

check your phones software version there was a recent update on this this may solve your problem

My friend is using 5610XpressMusic and he had this problem before..he went 2 the Nokia Care Centre and they just helped him formetted his phone and the problem is solved...u can try f you dun mind..

Yes. Some 5610 just needs a complete hardware reflash which can be only done at a Nokia Care Centre. Although as of the moment - there is a newly released firmware for 5610 - v8.30

I think this is the buggiest but very, very, very, buggy fone.

Nokia should take out this model form the market!!!

i think u shud get ur phone to v8.30 wm1983, i have had v8.30 for a month now and not ONE problem/hang/restart

Ironically, I have yet to update my N5610. As far as it goes, the latter v4.81 has not failed me yet. But will consider updating it soon.

No way at all!!! i changed so far ago... i still have my 3250...

yeh well if u think ur 3250 is ok then stop knocking the 5610's problems when other people have upgraded to v8.30 and they are no longer complaining.

I'm just saying the very pain in the **bleep** is for a user to have a handset that does not work when you just bought it.

If upgrading is the solution for some users, do it... in my continent Nokia almost not releases upgrading capabilities handsets. So we have to deal with that... so bad!

But remember, updating your 5610 up to the latest version is the best thing to do at the moment.

Nokia should see this coming! why they release new versions of firmwares/softwares if they gonna produce more trubles than the early versions? Got no logic!!!

It supose that is all the way around and, the new updates fix the issues from the old ones...

I recommend, when somebody wanna update his/her handset firmaware, look on the web every topic related with the new update. This way the user's gonna know what kind of troubles or advantages can give you the new update. therefore his/her gonna know if is worth to switch...
