hi i'm using nokia asha 311 i can play youtube videos while using cell data ...but i can't play youtube videos when connected to wifi network ...it's showing no response from server .

  can you please suggest me some solution?

i also tried to find youtube apps at nokia store but its not available.... is there any other way so I could watch youtube using wi fi connection???? is there any apps that i could buy or install????

For non OS phones, hard to find it. I read this comment who answer someone's question about streaming via Nokia Asha 202.0That is impossible, and you need to download the videos in youutbe first with a youtube downloader, then convert the FLV files to MP4.
you can use a Free MP4 video converter to do that.

Me is viseversa!when i using celldata i cant watch youtube video but when i using wifi i can watch..and i cannot download,all i download is alWays file not supported even application for asha 311 from goggle..even mp3 songs.to much problem from this mobile.

I have the same problem ... when i try to watch a video in youtube it says : "Operation failed" .

I use data connection .

From an other nokia asha 311 that i've used ,it works .I saw there that the internet browser has other settings aspects that my own asha 311 . Can it be the browser version the problem ? If that , where can i download or modify it ?

My friends asha 311 had an javascript tab in the broswers settings , and i don't have it ... Maybe thats the problem ?]

I 've tried to install aplications from ovi store to run videos but all this apps show me the same message ("Operation failed") when i run them . So opera-mini .......

even i am facing the same problem,my youtube is working fine in 3g and2g but as soon as i connect my fone to a wifi network then internet works fine,but streaming does not work,it says "no response, try again". It has always worked fine for me. Mobile Data turned off and playing videos over wifi worked
