I have recently fitted Paragon cradle ref 8PO 051 435 GE to my April 09 model A5 which is bluetooth equipped. I use several Nokia type 6233 phones in the car in the course of my business.
Whereas in my last car (Opel/Vauxhall Vectra 'C') I did not need to switch on the bluetooth mode on the phone before inserting it in the cradle, I now find in the Audi that the bluetooth on the phone itself has to be energised before it will work in the car.
As I have several phones which I wish to use in the car (all Nokia 6233) I find it inconvenient to have to go through the 'pairing' routine every time I use a different phone. Additionally, I understand that, with the bluetooth energised on the phone, the drain on the phone's battery is greatly increased, thus it soon runs flat away from the car.
Am I using the device correctly?
