I have recently purchased a 6700 classic. Initially the bluetooth worked but now I cannot turn it on.
I have tried all the various options posted.
I have also done a factory default reset but still all I get is a continuous 'Switching on bluetooth'
Please can somebody help me?

Upon S40 device not a lot you can do other than get Nokia Care facility to re-install device software if this is NOT an option for you in Nokia Suite > Options > Software updates.

Yes in theory I can upgrade via Nokia Suite but it is telling me I am uptodate.
I suspect that is for Nokia SW not Bluetooth SW.
Are there no links for reinstalling my version of Bluetooth?

If update is not available, you may try re-installing the existing version of the Firmware .. Else, you must visit Nokia Care

I am not sure how to uninstall Bluetooth and then where do I go to get Firmware?

You can't un-install Bluetooth .. along with the Firmware re-install, any files related to the BT will get over-written..and Firmware is the phone software (that the one you mentioned is upto date) . Connect the phone to PC..open Nokia Suite-->Tools-->software Update .. and there should be a 'Re-install' option available as seen in the attachment ..

Thanks. Unfortunately I do not seem to have what you have.
On my Nokia Suite 'Software' all I have is Software version 3.6.36 plus the statement 'No update is available'
THere is not the addition facility on your attachment.
Thoughts?

Though not sure (since never experienced myself) some posts on this Forum say that the option is available only if the device was updated atleast once thru' Nokia Suite. So that may be true ..
In such a scenario the only option left with you is to visit Nokia Care ..
