Hi, I am able to connect my asha 303 to WIFI and use social networks normally. But each time I try to browse or open the store, I get a communication error (006).

Please help me ASAP..

i already encountered that problem too after updating my software to v14.60.. what i did was i make i soft reset on my asha 303, try dialing these *#7780#...settings will be reset..try it

I faced the same problem.. But this is what I did.. AND ITS WORKING.....

Menu> Settings> configuration>Personal settings> add new..

Select My web.... And its working...

Keep all the other settings in other areas as wifi first and all.... But I did this after deleting my service provider settings... Somebody try it without removing the service provider settings.. It might work... Then u might be able to access both WI-fi and service provider according to availability... :-)

I had the same problem in my new Asha 303 which I have just unpacked...

First of all, I tried to access internet directly after receiving the configuration from my service provider, anyway it didn't access the internet or connect through any other apps.

I did this: (following k9monsta)

Menu>configuration>Personal settings> add new, then select My Web, do nothing and press Back, then long press My web, Activate, and it was alright .....

PS:I didn't change any other configuration, my service provider's config is still there for alternative connection.

k9monsta & Yousef96 - both your solutions plus a Soft Reset worked well to solve the same Communication Error (006) on my Asha 311 - thanks.

Steps:
1) Soft Reset
Press on your dialler *#7780# to do a Soft Reset
Click Yes for the message that appears 'Selecting setting...."
Give security code. If you have not set yet, use 12345
Mobile restarts & sets back the original settings (without troubling your personal data)

2) Now,
Menu> Settings> configuration>Personal settings> Add new
Select My web
Do nothing and press Return button (right bottom)
You can see My web ietm - press long on My web
Select Activate

Now this communication error never again comes!!

When I opened Nokia Browser today, the latest version download promt came in & I installed.

Broswer working good now.

Nokia Mail app is still funny. I have downloaded separate apps like Gmail, Yahoo mail etc to work around that one
