My wife loves her "really simple" Nokia 3120 - it does everything she wants
Unfortunately, we have just had to replace it (with another 3120!) and need to move ringtones from old to "new" phone
I have a CA-42 cable, but no longer the install CD
When I attach the cable to either Win 7 or Win XP SP3, the driver installation fails - so I am stuck at the first hurdle
Can I get relevant drivers from somewhere other than the install CD?
Thanks fror any suggestions

I wish you luck as just couldn't get CA-42 to work with PC Suite 5.8 on Xp to use with 6610 recently!

Thanks for the links, but nope - still no good
As soon as I plug the CA-42 into a USB port I get a device not recognised message - even without a phone connected ![]()

@philguk
Are you sure that this a genuine Nokia CA-42 accessory rather than a "generic" clone using "Prolific PL2303" driver which adds to the complications?
Have now carried out clean install of Nokia Connectivity Driver to Windows Xp SP3, reboot PC, followed by installing PC Suite 5.8 then connect CA-42 and phone, At which point drivers successfully loaded, although had to select "Com Port 3" in "Connection Manager" for my 6610 to be recognised.
At least Nokia Connectivity Driver v1.0 and PC Suite 5.8 are from the same era and should play together!
