Cable connection of n 2700 classic with nokia pc suite

Hi,i have been trying to connect my n 2700 classic with nokia pc suite with a cable but i'ts taking a very long time in installing the cable.it took up to 4 hrs the last time and still didn't complete the installation till i stop it.please what could be the cause? thanks.

Try basic troubleshooting on the phone:


1. Reboot the phone

2. If still the same, do factory reset:

 

Menu > Settings > Rest. factory sett>Restore settings only

 

This should not delete any personal information on your device. Afterwhich, try to connect again. You can also try to connect using another USB cable or another USB port.
