Disappearing of GPS on E6-00 while driving

When i enter a point to which i want to drive to, my Nokia E6-00 calculates the route and shows it to me on the screen. I start driving and after about 1 to 2 minutes the route disappears and the screensaver appears. Does anybody have any idea of what i did wrong ?

Is Nokia Maps application still open or is it crashing when this happens?

Symbian specialist until 31/01/2013 with interests in Maemo & MeeGo but an aversion to Windows!

I do not think the GPS is crashing, it is not blocked on the screen. The clock (screensaver) appears after about 1 minute. I have to unbolt and then i have to start the application maps again. The story continues again after 1 minute.

I just did another test. This time, strangely enough, the GPS did not turn to screensaver. But i think you have a point that there is probably something wrong with the GPS. Sometimes i only see the route to follow, the surroundings disappear.

If so that there is a problem with the GPS what can i do ?
