Hi All, 

I'm using E71 (RM-346) here, using my E71 as modem to connect my notebook (VISTA SP2, 32-bit) by using "Nokia PC Internet Access" to internet very frequent nows a day. 

I notice that my internet connection will only work once, if I get disconnected, I'll never able to re-establish the connection unless I do a notebook reboot, I check the status of few devices after I get disconnected

1. Ping result - "No resources"

  - I use the PING command to constantly check if the connectivity is still alive, if I get "request time out", I'll click "disconnect" in "Nokia PC Internet Access", ping will give me error code 1232 ("PING: transmit failed, error code 1232.") , when I try to re-connect back, PING command will reply "No resources"

2. IPCONFIG /ALL - Media Unoperational

After getting "No resources" from PING, next time I notice is that PPP Adapter from Nokia E71 modem will have the following status

the problem get resolved after I installed OVI and update PC Suite to the latest version

My Info is below (it's actually Win7 - 64 bit, but Nokia software can only detect it as 32 bit )

Why is DHCP not enabled?
