3G issue,
I am unable to connect to internet via 3G service, whenever I connect my mobile to internet, E appears insted of 3G service, whereas others fellows in my vicinity are connecting via 3G but from other handsets of sony erricssion. Kindly guide me that how to solve it. How to convert from Edge to 3G service

Hope you have an active 3G plan thru' your Operator ... Check under Connectivity settings-->Network settings that the Network mode is set to Dual or UMTS and not GSM ... Reboot the phone and check again ...

Farby, thanks for the prompt response, just tell me one more thing that by selecting UMTS, network will work or not, means calls and sms service will be disabled or will worl?

It will work without any problem ...

But Farby, on dual mode 3G is not working, but when I select only UTMS, 3G works but calls and msg service dont work nor network signal works.

Something wierd ... Can you contact your Operator and confirm if there is any issue with the SIM ..? If required, they will replace the SIM and most Operators will do that for Free ...

..also ask your Operator, whether any new SETTINGS are required. If yes, request them to send it thru' SMS. You just need to save them when they arrive ...
