My Nokia Lumia 900 has had connectivity problems with my computer, I was told to uninstall the driver and then reinstall it to fix this problem. Now my computer (WIndows 7) tells me that the driver can not be installed and fails everytime I try. I have tried running updates for Zune, my computer, and my phone and still no progress. Is there a way to fix this? Is it an issue with my phone or my computer?

I have tried these fixes before, they helped me realize the driver was the problem, but the driver will not reinstall, it tells me that installing the driver is "not a supported service".

Iif you have other computer, please try connecting your phone to it to isolate the issue. If it will work, the issue might be related to your computer. Since it doesn't allow you to re-install the driver. You can contact Microsoft for this matter.
Hope this helps. ![]()

Yes I have a desktop that I could try connecting to, but it would be much more convenient if i could solve this issue on my laptop, does nokia or windows have a support page where I can download the driver from the internet instead of my phone? That's what my computer suggests and I have done some searching but no luck yet.

Have you tried re-installing Zune?
If I've helped in any way, a click upon the white kudos star would always be appreciated.

Three times, I don't think zune is the issue.
