My nokia don't stay connected for periodical mail retrieve

Hi,

I have a C6-00 device.

I use internet connection to acess my gmail box at work and it is important to do it all day long.

I set Sync to check the mails at every 5 min.

Everything works fine but aprox after 10-15 minutes it disconnects from internet and sync of my mail box cannot be made without re-making the internet connection manually.

Is it a way to make phone to keep internet connection open as long I need without manual reconnecting or is it a characteristic usual for Nokia?

At least let me know if possible.
