Hello

I have two questions:

• Does this phone support serial port over bluetooth. I've tried it in blueSoleil and it always said try again later.
• Does this model support PAN profile. BlueSoleil says it doesn't

A2DP, AVRCP, BIP, DIP, DUN, FTP, GAVDP, HFP, HID, HSP, OPP, PBAP, SAP are bluetooth profiles for the 5230. Are you using Nokia PC Suite or OVI Suite? They support all the needed profiles for your device.

Thanks for the answer. I know that using Ovi/PC Suite I can use my phone as modem and connect pc to internet.

I'm trying to "emulate" wifi vie bluetooth so my phone has free of charge internet access at my home but so far nothing I have found on the internet works. Some of the solutions uses GnuBox

sir my mobile also have problem , me conect wth bluetooth to pc as ' PAN ' personal area network , but it not accept n find the phone , but bluetooth work for transfer files , it not work on 'PAN '  plz help that to solve this problem  , reply me ...

Certain Bluetooth keyboards such as Nokia SU-8W give no problems, although you may find this resource helpful which appertains to 5800XM should also work for 5230:
