Have C2-00. want to pair to car but already have old phone in and wont allow because I suspect that same name appears for both phones ie ACCENT - car book says should change name on C2-00 from ACCENT to ACCENT 1 - can someone tell me how to do this please?

Hi pj1234,

 

Welcome to the forum! You can change the name of paired devices by going Menu > Settings>  Connectivity > Bluetooth > Paired devices > Select the device > Options > Settings > Assign short name.

 

You can change the name of your device from Bluetooth > My device's name.

 

It could be that the connection does not work because the car kit's device memory is full. Try to reset it as per instructed in the user guide. delete the pairing from the phone as well: Paired devices > Select the device > Options > Delete pairing. Try to connect now again.

 

Please let me know if the connection still does not work, and if you get any error messages.
