Same problem - have emailed Nokia support. I have tried connecting to 2 different PC's now and only success was by not using nokia software and only using bluetooth (it's still buggy though)
Really wish I could just connect it and tranfer files...why is it so hard?

Hi,
Can you try:
step 1:
Go to Program and Features or Add Remove in Control Panel
- Click Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver
- Click Repair.
Then restart the computer again. The Nokia Ovi Suite works fine.
If it does not help,
Step 2:
-Go to Program and Features or Add remove in Control Panel
- Click Ovi Suite
- Click Uninstall
Uninstall also:
- Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver
- PC connectivity Solution
Then download the latest Nokia Ovi Suite from the link below:
http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/
I hope this helps.

Same Problem here too.
I recently bought Nokia C2-01. My phone works well when i connect it to pc via bluetooth but when i connect it via usb cable it shows-" Nokia C2-01 connected in non compatible mode" even though i select PC suite mode in my device/phone. Windows recognises it as Portable device named- "NOKIA" when i connect it via usb.
I have windows 7 os installed and trying to connect this phone trough nokia ovi suite.. I think it's a big issue and Nokia should pay attention to it and provide solution to C2-01 users as soon as possible..

Hi!
I can interconnect my PC and phone with USB cable without any problem, however I am not able to paar the two devices by BT.
Every time I try to find the phone with the PC, Nokia PC Suit gives a code (of course I could change it, but it is not the question) and try to paar the phone.
On the other hand, the phone gives an other code (a six number long) and ask wether it is good on the other device.
So the codes not match each other, and I am not allowed on either devices to give the code given by the other...
I think, there should be a trivial solution, but I can not find it since half an our yet...
I have a W8 based laptop, a Nokia C2-01 and Nokia PC Suit 7.1.180.94
Please!!!
Thanks

barosi, which Bluetooth software stack do you use: Microsoft, BlueSoleil, Broadcom? Sometimes a computer has different versions installed and the Noka Suite chooses the wrong one. Which one(s) are listed in Nokia Suite » Info » About?
