Hello,
After not using for a while, suddenly my wifi has stopped working. Wifi doesn't work at all. Before I used to use it whole day but now suddenly it's not even connecting to any wifi network neither is it searching networks.
I tried using JoikuSpot to see if it works but it gives error as unable to start after I try to create wifi hotspot.

Is this a hardware issue? I've already tried doing factory restore but it didn't help.

hi mate,

have you checked if there are any firmware updates available for your device via Nokia Suite? if there are any, please update to the latest version offered. failing that, you can try re-installing your current firmware thru Nokia Suite.

Hey adrianhughes, thanks for the reply.

It was working before I sent my phone to nokia care. I took it back to them again after I found the wifi issue.

They formatted and installed latest clean firmware(41.0.*) but it didnt help. Wifi is still not working. They even did try reassembling the whole phone, but it didnt help either.

Nokia Care assistant told me that they'll need to send phone to company but it'll cost me too much so suggested me to rather buy a new phone as I've already paid them about $60 for repairing the strip between display & qwerty which was broken.

I guess I just have to rely on 3G as the phone is old & I'll just use it for few more months.

sorry to hear that it didn't work out for the phone. perhaps you can now upgrade to something flashier and newer, perhaps one of the new Lumia devices
