Is it possible to Call through your PC on Free Call.

If it is possible , you can also try with E51.

If your Service Provider (Etisalat /Du) blocked Free Call,

you can not access the server.

Check Wecaze posts to override possibilities..

        Try using settings written in post 144. Alternatively you can have a look at this page:

It explains all configurations you need to do in your E51. After you try them, if any confusion remains, then please let me know

        Please provide some information.

Are you able to connect to this voip service using your computer?

Please verify your sip settings in your phone. I am saying this because even a small typing mistake of dot"." can prevent you from connecting to the network.

If your problem is still not solved, then tell us exactly what settings you have made in the phone.

i have the account and was activated, from last 3 months i am using it on my pc,

now i have E66 and i want to connect with it. please tell me the setting,

and fring is also not working with mine

Hi

For Intervoip settings, please read our previous posts for E51 settings.

Only to change the SIP and server addresses, rest all the same with voiparound or 12voip settings.

Please check first you could have to make call through fring.

 Intervoip settings

SIP port : 5060 - IETF

 Registrar : sip.intervoip.com 

 Proxy server : sip.intervoip.com 

 Outbound proxy server : leave empty 

 Account name : your InterVoip username 

 Password : your InterVoip password 

 Display name/number : your InterVoip username or voipnumber 

 Stunserver (option) : stun.intervoip.com 

Now Last 2-3 weeks some areas of Middle East,  voips are not connecting through E 51.

There is proxy blocking from Telephone authorities in Middle East countries..
Is anybody have experienced problem to connect E51 to the SIP servers recently.

Please inform ..

But it is working on FRING.

Hi Kpnkrd,

        I repeat the contents of my post 153 below.

         Nokia E51 supports SIP profiles. You can configure your SIP client yourself and make calls directly from your address book. Here I will tell you how to confirure Nymgo.

1. Go to menu->tools->settings->connection->sip settings

2. Create a new SIP profile using following settings:

Public username : sip:myusername@nymgo.com
Service profile : IETF

Use compression : No
Registration : When needed
Use security : No

Proxy address :sip:ata.nymgo.com
Realm : ata.nymgo.com

Username: username (without @ata.nymgo.com)

Password: password
Allow Loose routing :Yes
Transport : UDP
Port : 5060

Registrar address : sip:ata.nymgo.com
Realm : ata.nymgo.com

Username: username (without @ata.nymgo.com)
Password: password
Transport : UDP
Port : 5060

---------------------------------------------

3. Go to menu->tools->settings->connection->Internet telephone

4. Create a new Internet telephone profile using your Nymgo SIP profile.

5. Go to menu->connectivity->Internet telephone

6. Select your internet connection and your SIP profile should get registered.

7. Dial a number in international format or browse any number from address book and call this number using following options:

Options->Call->Internet call

When you are successful doing all this, you can see there are few other ways too to make your SIP calling more simple. All the best !!!

Is it possible to access fring.com from you PC.

If so please download the sis file to your PC.

Install with Nokia PC suite.

Or you can google it with fring download from www.download.com or

many sites.
