Hi everyone, 

I bought this Nokia asha 311

but whenever I want to connect my asha 311  to WLAN

get this error "network no longer available"

Nokia asha 311    RM-714    V03.90

But when i try to connect from my nokia C7-00 it's working

Can anyone help me please

what is the signal strength of the WiFi AP you try to connect to ?

what encryption method do you use in WiFi AP you try to connect to ?

signal strength : it's 100%

Encryption : WEP open

Encryption key type : ASCII

Encryption key length :64-bit

802.11 channel : automatic

Hi Buddy,

I am also facing the same issue.

Other WiFi devices and mobiles; I am able to connect to same Wifi but not Asha 311.

Please post your solution here if you get lucky.

Same Issue here, bought it a few days ago... even latest software update doesn't fix it. Not sure when they'll fix this problem.

I have the same issue as yours. My wife bought an asha 311 last sunday. We have been trying to connect it to the joikuspot tethered nokia n8 but it cannot connect. We got the same error message as above. Would like to know what seems to be the problem? Or is there any solution to this. Many thanks.

the tethered WiFi spots have not been supported by S40 phones in the past .. have you tried to connect to real WiFI AP ?

Hey

I bought the phone today and facing issues with wifi connectivity...The wifi just does not stay longer for 2-3 seconds and is intermittent..

Nokia urgently needs to address this issue if they want to salvage some falling pride...

Hi. Im using Nokia asha 303. Problem is my internet browser. It shows a message "Conflicting applications show items? - Yes or No.
Pls help me. I tried to resert it but nothing change. Im from South Africa ( Durban )

Hi guys,

Please make sure you router use WPA security setting. Nokia Asha has compatibility issue with either WEP or WPA2 settings.

Ive found a solution every one it lets u use wifi in this browser to goto any website(the ones u hav bookmarked) ok first folow settings>conectivity>internetphone here make a new acount or if u have one already delete it and add new.. It will take u to the internet browser and Ask you whether to use wifi or mobile data ..click wifi and when its loading stop the loading goto bookmarks and choose the website u wana goto and it takes u there using wifi i did it hurray
