How can I connect Lumia 620 to the Internet via my PC using data cable ? Is this possible ?

as per other threads on these forums regarding the same query, no it is not possible to use any of the WP8 devices as a modem for your PC.

Thanks for your answer but you misunderstood my question, I do not need my Lumia 620 to be my PC's modem though I think that it is possible to do that using Internet Sharing feature. To make it clear, my situation is I have a PC with Internet connection and now I connect my Lumia 620 to that PC using a micro USB data cable; so the question is can my phone connect to the Internet and if yes, how ? Thanks.

sorry i misunderstood your question mate. no, it is not possible for the phone to connect to the Internet, through a connection that is provided by the PC. you can always use WiFi for that purpose, if you have a router connected to your PC to make a WiFi hotspot for your 620 to connect to.

if you don't have a router, there is also the option of using a free program such as Connectify, that will use your WiFi card on your PC to create a wireless hotspot for other devices to connect to.
