Recently just bough an Asha 302 on pay as you go without any data allowance as i want to use the Wi-Fi connection from my house.

I can successfully connect to the wifi but after about 5 minutes it automatically disconnects. Any ideas as to why this keeps happening?

Also, i always have to manually connect to the Wi-Fi, its doesnt automatically remember the connection

In WiFi setting -->Advance settings.. check whether Power Saving mode is turned OFF ..After that check again whether it gets disconnected every now and then ...

Could you just talk me through that from the homepage, im struggling to find the advanced settings

Under WLAN... Options -->Settings-->Options-->Advance settings ...(since not a Nokia 302 user, the path may differ.. but just check all options that you have under WLAN settings)

What's the status on this?

I tried to find the power save option on my Asha 203 but no such thing on the WLAN settings. I only have

- Avaliable WLANs

- Saved WLANs

- WLAN search

Seen various advanced settings menus after some trying but none with this option.

Also, in the mean time I noticed my phone does connect to 3G despite my explicit setting that it should ask for approval to go to Wifi (which I would select) or 3G at all times when it needs an internet connnection. So pretty **bleep** of with Nokia on this.

Im Using Asha 302 RM-813 v.14.92. There is No 'Power Saving' option in WLAN or Connectivity Menu & There is also No 'Advance Settings' Option/Menu in Nokia Asha 302. I am 100% sure about it. I am using this phone since last 8 months & have searched for such options. Please confirm the information first. Please update the software for better wifi connectivity & other problems. We are waiting for the best software update which will fix all the issues. .
